The Lighthouse of Alexandria
The Lighthouse of Alexandria was one of the 7 wonders of the anciet world.When sailors were lost at sea they could find their was into the harbor. And and fire in its tall tower helped them do this. This tower really helpd sailors when coming home from a long jounrey at sea.
the lighthouse of Alexandria was one of the seven wonders of the world. a fire was lit for lost sailors and ships to guide them to harbor.
The greek parthenon at Athens was made for the greek god Athena.Parthenons were mainly used for religious cerimonies and sacrifices. they were serious places where you could find many religious Athenians. work started on the parthenon in 447B.C. when Athens was at the height of its power. the parthenon had many more purposes than just religious cerimonies and sacrifices.
Greek Foods
In ancient Greece for their dinners they would always have Bread and Wine. But on special occasions they would have lamb in the place of bread and then of course Wine. In ancient Greece the rich people ate lamb every night and had only the fanciest wine in the state. But for the non-rich people they had lamb on every special occasions with wine. The food that i Brought today is the type of bread that the non-rich people would have (French Bread) with some wine (Fruit Punch)
This tomato salad is very common.They eat it in Greece a lot.It has salt,pepper,lemon juice,4 tomato's,and basil.It is very good.A lot of people love to eat it in Greece.There are a lot of great foods in Greece.
SPARTAN SOLIDER
a spartan soldier was very well trained.spartan boys were taken from their families at the age of 7 until about 30.all spartan soldiers carried a shield,a long spear,and a sword in case they threw their spear.
In my project I made a Spartan sword. In this picture you can see that it is delicately crafted with experienced hands. The Spartans used well crafted weapons in warfare. Thats why the were so god in war. The ancient Spartans played an intelligent role for this era.
GREEK DRAMA
What is drama? drama is two types of plays,comedy and tragedy.A comedy is a story where a person has a happy ending, and a tragedy is a story where a person has trouble overcoming a difficulty and fails; or otherwise known as an unhappy ending. the best known writers for plays during Greek times were Aeschylus,Sophocles,Euripides, and Aristophanes. most Greek plays were written on things like Greek gods,the rights Greeks had, and good and evil.in the early Greek day plays there were only one actor, then soon after there were more and more.in Greek plays all the actors wore masks, and depending on the play they wore a harry mask, or a sad mask.

Greeks loved pottery. They often did pots with red on black or black on red on them. Pictures on the pots were of kings, olimpics,or just of greeks.

Hello mr. joachim. We got your call today and i understand you mentioned the paper i wrote about attending the tech class. I will stay up and write an essay that will hopefully blow Mrs. Burchem away.
